Get Your Kitchen Holiday-Ready in Windsor-Essex
Updated: 3 days ago
Your kitchen is about to become the most-seen room in your house
Think about where everyone gathers at the holidays. Not the living room — the kitchen. Guests drift in while you're cooking, kids camp at the island, someone always ends up leaning against the counter with a drink.
And right now, your cabinets are the first thing all of those people will notice.
A full kitchen renovation before the holidays? That's weeks of dust, demolition, and contractors in your house during the busiest season of the year — if you could even get one scheduled. But there's a faster way to get the "brand new kitchen" feeling before your guests arrive: have your cabinets professionally refinished.
Why refinishing is the pre-holiday move
Cabinet refinishing gives you the biggest visual transformation in the kitchen for a fraction of the cost of replacing them — and our whole process takes just 7–10 days, not weeks.
No demolition, no renovation chaos. Your kitchen stays usable while we work.
A factory-smooth sprayed finish. Your cabinet doors are finished in our own spray booth — not brushed and rolled in your kitchen.
A fraction of replacement cost. Refinishing begins at $3,000 + tax — see our pricing page for what drives the final number.
If you've been thinking about it all year, the holidays are your deadline — in the best way. Nothing motivates a kitchen refresh like knowing twenty people will be standing in it on December 25th.
The timing: book your estimate now
Here's the simple math. Our refinishing process takes 7–10 days from start to finish. That means kitchens we estimate in October and November are the ones that get completed before the holidays — relaxed, cured, and ready for guests.
We have 5 openings available for guaranteed Christmas completion. The last start date is Dec 11
Don't wait until December. By then, everyone's rushing, and the calendar is what it is. A free estimate now locks in your spot.
What those 7–10 days actually look like
No surprises, no living out of takeout containers for a month:
Doors come off and go to our spray booth for prep and finishing.
Cabinet boxes are finished right in your home by Adam, our dedicated in-home finisher — the same person on every job, never a rotating crew.
The finish is cured with infrared lamps — a 20-minute cure on both the colour coat and the clear topcoat.
Waterborne coatings, no harsh fumes. We spray a 1K waterborne finish over a shellac primer — there's no isocyanate hardener used in your home, so no harsh chemical smell lingering while you host.
You can read the full day-by-day breakdown on our process page.
A fresh colour changes everything
The holidays are also the perfect excuse to finally pick the colour you've been saving on your phone for two years. Crisp white for a bright, classic Christmas kitchen. A deep green that looks made for December. A warm greige that photographs beautifully when the whole family is crowded around the island.
Not sure which direction to go? Our colour consultation is part of the service — we'll guide you on what works with your lighting, counters, and floors, and you make the final call.
